Spring fishing is here

I fished the last 2 days 3/29 3/30 with about the same results. One day i fished west and the other east. We had 18 to 19 bites both days. The east trip we had 8 lake trout in the shallows which is the first time here in many years that i had that many lakers in shallow water. They use to stock a strain from michigan that was always there in the spring, but not anymore. We had quality brown trout both days, with very few little ones. I will be out for the next 2 days as well, keep tuned.
